This existing continuous closed string staircase has been transformed to suit the customer’s modern, minimalistic style. The gull wing staircase features oak 90mm Lindisfarne newel posts with pyramid caps. For simplicity, 8mm toughened glass has been rebated into the 70 x 50mm handrail and baserail. To complete the look the original strings were covered with oak veneers, beads, latts; all components finished with a dark stain to suit the overall theme.
